Rob
Sardella is an artist who's talent crosses many borders and knows no boundaries.
Drawing at an early age, Rob attended the New England School of Art & Design
in Boston, majoring in design and illustration. After art school, Rob won numerous
awards for his work, freelanced his designs for WBCN-FM, WAAF-FM (Boston) and
WKRQ-FM in New York. (Howard Stern and his crew wore his WBCN shirt designs
and used his Pink Floyd artwork for their upcoming sold-out Shea Stadium Pink
Floyd shows!) Rob also had the honor of having one of his airbrushed aviation
art paintings accepted into the 8th Air Force Museum at Barksdale Air Force
Base in Bossier City, LA. It marked a huge personal accomplishment in Rob's
art career as the last painting accepted had been 10 years earlier! Beginning
his novelty art career 8 years ago as a staff artist for Fun Enterprises, Rob
worked college events around the country and locally all over New England and
summers drawing caricatures of tourists at Boston's Quincy Market. This valuable
experience proved beneficial when Rob started Leopard Spots in the summer of
2003. Rob's strong customer service skills and his highly graphic and detailed
art style merged to create unique and entertaining artistic event services!
In his spare (rare!) time, Rob can be found airbrushing pinup
girls and '57 Chevy portraits and playing his Les Paul guitar with his band,
Odds `n' Ends. Rob is also currently teaching airbrush lessons to aspiring artists
of all ages and in addition, he started and runs an airbrush club in conjunction
with the lwata/Medea company of Portland, Washington, and the Charrette store
in Woburn, Massachusetts.
